Prof. KRS Innovation Challenge
Theme: Innovation & Sustainability

Event Format:
Round 1: Online Idea/Proposal Submission
Deadline: October 18, 2024

Details: Teams must submit an innovative idea or proposal that aligns with the challenge's theme. Submissions must include problem identification, proposed solution, and implementation plan.

Team Size: 4 members per team (students and faculty eligible).

Evaluation Criteria: Innovation, technical feasibility, sustainability, and potential for commercialization.
Selection Notification: October 21, 2024.


Round 2: On-Site Presentation and Prototype Demonstration
Date: October 23, 2024
Venue: Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College

Details: Teams will present their ideas and demonstrate a prototype or detailed model. They will answer questions from a panel of judges and mentors.

Evaluation: Teams will be judged based on innovation, sustainability, technical execution, and the potential for real-world application.

Note: Teams with a commercially viable solution may be eligible for incubation and funding of up to ₹1,00,000 for further prototype development.

Prizes:
First Prize: ₹75,000 + 55-Inch Smart TV
Second Prize: ₹50,000
Third Prize: ₹25,000

Rules:
1. Teams can consist of up to 4 members.
2. Each team must submit their proposal through the online portal before the deadline.
3. Only selected teams will move to the on-site round.
4. The decision of the judges will be final.
5. Submissions should focus on innovation, sustainability, and practical application in fields like AI, IoT, renewable energy, electric vehicles, etc.

Registration Fee: ₹250 per head.
